I started the day with a Starbucks pumpkin spice latte.
I totally forgot to mention that I wanted soy milk, so I’m pretty sure this was 2% or whole. I don’t drink much dairy because it makes my stomach hurt, but I can tolerate a half serving here and there. I drank about half of this. Also, I promptly spilled it on my shirt. Two new stains!
For breakfast I had cake. Yes, cake.
My coworker made a yellow cake with strawberry cream cheese icing. The icing didn’t hold together well since it was fat-free. A cake wreck if you will.
All this sugar made me feel a little awful later. How do people eat donuts and drink super sweet coffee in the morning? Blech!
I had carrots for a snack before exercising.
Lunch was supposed to be a burrito, but I ended up just eating the insides. Wild rice, black beans, an ounce of Havarti, and salsa.
Mix together, pop in the microwave, top with tomatoes, and voila ~awesomeness~!
I decided to plate my food on a tray I had at work. It’s from Costa Rica. Cool, right?
Afterward I had gingerbread spice tea.
Funny story – I thought my gingerbread latte this morning smelled really good and strong, but it turned out I had yesterday’s tea bag still in a mug on my desk, and when I threw it away the smell dissipated.
Dinner was simple: chicken leftovers mixed into pasta with pesto.
Also consumed: two beers, because one is good but two is better.
Aaaaaand a few freezer snickerdoodle cookies.
Jesus Christ! This day was 2000+ calories. I know, I know, it’s never a good idea to start the day with cake. It was pretty much downhill from Starbucks.

Wow! What a day! LOL about the fragrant latte. That cake looks really good. The melted cream cheese is lovely. Nothing wrong with that breakfast!
