So… yesterday I didn’t blog, but I had a relaxing day off with not much accomplished. Here’s a quick rundown of what I ate: A waffle for breakfast, plain with honey.
For lunch, reheated homemade jambalaya. And dinner was a massive burrito, made of rice, refried beans, cheese, tomatoes, and lettuce.
We made 6 freezer burritos and cleaned the house, so there is a momentary sigh of relief feeling. The mister is the best sushi roller and burrito roller.
Moving on to today….It’s my brother’s birthday. Happy birthday, Alan!
For breakfast, I had the usual oatmeal served up in my new bowl. Usual oatmeal = steel cut oats+chopped dates+walnuts+sprinkling of gingerbread granola.
I had no snacks today. I’m trying to see how that goes for me. I might be a little hungrier, but I won’t eat as much crap that’s for sure.
For lunch I met my boyfriend at Roly Poly and had my usual fare, a California Hummer. It’s a very veggie sandwich. The boyfriend orders the same thing, just larger.He was excited about his first day back at school! Tomorrow is my first day of school after being a non-student for 10 years. I am nervous, needless to say!
After work I had a club soda with a splash of cranberry juice, and a few cashews while dinner was cooking.
Maybe I lied about the no snacking….
Dinner was pesto chicken with some mixed baby lettuce thrown in. I have not been doing well with getting my 5 fruits and vegetables in!
There was also a couple of glasses of Beaujolais.
